GUIDE TO GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE FOR THE MARINE INDUSTRY

The ‘Guide to Good Business Practice For The Marine Industry’ (Guide) was put together by ASMI’s Supporting Industries Committee in 2002. The Guide is produced as a reference document on good business practices for companies within the marine industry to observe

The guid provides some general guidelines for dealing among business partners within the industry. The guide iterates what are generally accepted as good business conduct and pratices in many other industries. The objective is to highlight some of these good practices for industry partners to observe and adopt for the mutual benefits of all parties involved in business contracts. It is not the intent of this Guide to intervene in the prerogatives of companies or to dictate the terms of their dealings with their business partners or customers.
